suse 9 libdvdcss

Hi,

I am new to suse, using 9 professional. I want to install the libdvdcss package so I can view dvd's. I was thinking of compiling it into my existing system from source.

Can anyone tell me the path I need to designate when building the package? I tried the rpm and it did not work out like I had hoped.

Thanks much,
meektom

if you have the source files then ./configure, make & make install should do the trick

you also need one or two other files, libdvdread, libdvdnav

worth looking at the mplayer home page or do a search for dvd's on linux
