Question Suse 7.3 and Sis 735 Chipset

Hello, I've tried to install Suse 7.3 Live evaluation on my pc(Specs below). Linux just hangs there, I've searched Suse and Google(The obvious) and get no hits on the problem. Can Linux handle Sis735 (i.e Elite: K7S5A) ?.

Athlon 1200(200MHz)
Elite K7S5A
256MB DDR
EIDE Mode 5 Fujitsu
ATI Rage pro 32MB

Oh BTW , I wanna install 7.3 but don't want to waste 45 quid doing it, if it's not gonna work.....

Cool Well It works fine

Anyone who reads this and has a Elite K7S5A based on the Sis 735 chipset, the Suse 7.3 installation works fine BUT you must install on safemode.

I opted to spend the 60 quid on the boxed set, and so far it's very much worth the money.

If your wondering why you need to install on safemode, then this is why :

modules not installed correctly or not at all :-
gcc
kdenetwork
mensasoft
iconsuxpm

reports magic problems (I dunno what they are yet).
