I am looking to run a subscription streaming video site. I have the business plan already dont. what is the best solution available for little to no money? The files needs to be protected from people who have not payed to see this video. I have been considering windows 2003 server with streaming media server and drm. The video clips will have both video and audio. Thanks for any help.
I very very very much doubt you can achieve this, the combination of media protection vs free softwaqre really won't sit well with any developer... you could look into helixserver, to community precense of Real Networks (ish), but being open source they don't support realvideo etc...
