SpamAssassin won't rewrite Subject line

When I first got everything installed, SpamAssassin would rewrite the Subject line to include ***SPAM***. Now it doesn't.

My VPS has Fedora Core 2, Spamassassin 3.1.0, Sendmail 8.12.11.

I'm not sure if its something in the config files or not.

The maillog says it was unable to parse line, couldn't rewrite Subject.

ClamAV is able to rewrite the subject line just fine.

Any ideas?

Assuming they haven't moved things around since 3.0.1, do you have a 'rewrite_header Subject' line in your local.cf (/etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf on my system) and is it uncommented?

rewrite_header Subject *****SPAM*****

thanks, that worked. I had it setup through Webmin, but I never checked that file. It was commented out.
