show process


In my RHEL 2 server , the "top" command have problem to show the process ( by CPU usage ), instead of using top to show the process, can advise who to know the what process are running in my system ? thx

The server is slow , I want to check what process is consuming system resource , but now can't use "top" to show current running process , please advise what can i do ? thx

If it's RHEL, you should have sysstat installed by default I'd imagine. This will give you a historical record of what happened using "sar".
Should be some info in the admin guide, or try "man sar" and/or the sysstat homepage.
