I hv configured Sendmail On Redhat 8.0 . I am able to send & recv the mails internaly as well as to internet mails (rediff,yahoo... ) but not able to recv the mail from internet ( Rediff, yahoo) to my local users .
You setup your DNS MX records correctly? If you have no idea what that is, I'm assuming not and I'd suggest reading up on it. You do also have a domain name these are pointing to correct?
Do you get a bounce message when sending? If so, what is it?
Not quite sure what you mean by internal, but if you mean just on that machine then have you edited /etc/mail/sendmail.cf and made sure that "DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1, Name=MTA')" is commented out?
Is port 25 accessible from the internet (try telneting to your IP on ports 25 from the outside), if it's not, then it's possible it's firewalled.
