Unhappy Samba - Authentication for user FAILED

Hi,

I`ve got a little problem with SAMBA so I decide to write new post at this forum.
Maybe there is someone who can help me.

Server: Slackware 10.1, Samba 3.0.14a.
Users: 10 x WinXP, 8 x Win98, 1 x win2000. (reeaver - win XP prof)

My smb.conf:

Code:
[global]
workgroup = SIEC
netbios name = SERVER
server string = samba
security = share
guest account = samba
log level = 2
log file = /var/log/samba/log.%m
max log size = 20000
os level = 65
preferred master = Yes
domain master = Yes
local master = yes

encrypt passwords = yes
unix password sync = no
update encrypted = No
smb passwd file = /etc/samba/private/smbpasswd

unix charset = ISO8859-2
dos charset = CP852

[upload]
comment = Public
path = /home/upload
read only = No
create mask = 0777
guest only = Yes
guest ok = Yes

[movies]
comment = movies
path = /home/movies
guest ok = Yes

I`ve added to system user samba, with command:

Code:

useradd -c "Samba User" -s /bin/false -g lan samba
and I added this user to Samba users database...

Code:
root@server:# smbpasswd -a samba
New SMB password:
Retype new SMB password:
and set no password for this user:

Code:
root@server:# smbpasswd -n samba
User samba password set to none.
The same things I`ve made with reeaver user (I`ve added him to system users - passwd, and to samba users - smbpasswd)

Everythings works almost ok, I can use upload and movie share - I can put there files and delete them, but in reeaver`s log file there are something like that:
Code:
[2005/09/03 03:09:43, 2] auth/auth.c:check_ntlm_password(312)
  check_ntlm_password: Authentication for user [reeaver] [reeaver] FAILED with error NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
[2005/09/03 03:09:43, 2] auth/auth.c:check_ntlm_password(312)
  check_ntlm_password: Authentication for user [samba] [samba] FAILED with error NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
[2005/09/03 03:09:43, 2] auth/auth.c:check_ntlm_password(312)
  check_ntlm_password: Authentication for user [reeaver] [reeaver] FAILED with error NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
[2005/09/03 03:09:43, 2] auth/auth.c:check_ntlm_password(312)
  check_ntlm_password: Authentication for user [reeaver] [reeaver] FAILED with error NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
[2005/09/03 03:09:43, 2] auth/auth.c:check_ntlm_password(312)
  check_ntlm_password: Authentication for user [reeaver] [reeaver] FAILED with error NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
[2005/09/03 03:09:43, 2] auth/auth.c:check_ntlm_password(312)
  check_ntlm_password: Authentication for user [samba] [samba] FAILED with error NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
[2005/09/03 03:09:44, 2] smbd/open.c:open_file(245)
That lines are added everytime I use server. Similar lines are in other users log files, but there are only lines:
Code:
[2005/09/03 03:09:43, 2] auth/auth.c:check_ntlm_password(312)
  check_ntlm_password: Authentication for user [samba] [samba] FAILED with error NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
so, there are no information about user`s failed login, because, there is no other users in system (besides reeaver) .

Like I said, my samba server works almost okay, but that info in log files make them more difficult to read, and of course they require more space on hard drive.

Is there anyone who can help me?
How go get rid of this info from log files?

reeaver
