hi,
i have successfully instaled red hat 6.2 linux. i am able to successfully boot the system as well but get only the # prompt and not the KDE. I have been trying to run startx but this gives me the following errors
SVGA: PCI: Intel Unknown chipset (X7121 rev3, Memory @ 0xd8000000, 0xdc100000
gart allocate: cannot allocate memory
SVGA: GART: allocation of 1024 pages failed at page 0.

could any one help me with this

I take it you are using built in video Intell 810 or something simular? There are fixes for that but your best bet is maybe to get Suse 7 or Mandrake 7.2 I think they both
support that chipset,but goto their websites and check.
