Angry RH 7.5 Help


I have been trying to get RH 7.2 installed for the past mounth but the first prob i had was bad cds and so i finnily got new ones and then the install basiclly went crazy. it would crash after like 5% of install and so i then just installed nothing but grub and the kernal but now i cant do anything and i tried to mount my cd and it said it wasnt there

Iam also running win 98 on a seprate HD which is 3 gb i am trying to install linux on a 4gb, My sys is a AMD K-6 2 200mhz with 57 mgs of ram and i have a creative 4x12x32 burnner. I have a number nine video card.

Iknow my sys will run rh b/c it was ther and working before but it got messed up and i tried to reinstall and that went crazy. I would greatly apreciate ur help thanx a bunch

try a different distro

Try to see if you can install a different distro. I would recommend SuSE Linux 7.3 Professional (the one I'm running) or Mandrake Linux 8.1 or RedHat 7.2 (I HATE RedHat).
If none of these distros install, youmay have a bad hardware configuration or faulty hardware! Let me know if SuSE works for you (I have great confidence in SuSE)
