red hat 6.0 box worth installing?

How Dee.

Just got myself a box full of red hat, except - it's ancient. 6.0.
The box has everything - Source/Apps... (i simply mean that the contents are intact) it's supposed to.

Is this a good place for me to start?
Dee- elling a 715Mb .iso seems like too much for a little dial-up pipsqueek like me.
And i have no cash AT ALL to spend on this.

I hate my win98. i have tweaked the shit out of it, but there is no winning - My ass always hurts.

this last re-install, i successfully partitioned myself a D: in addition to my C: - will this help me install both and have the option to dual-boot?

Will i be able to use the core on these cd's and upgrade/add-on kernel stuff, or is it a waste of time....

Anyone care to comment?

RedHat 6.0 is chock full of security holes discovered since its release and all software is seriously dated. But by all means, go ahead if you want to give it a try.

I think it is way too old. It won't be a fun experience.
