RealPlayer doesn't work with embedded videos

I can't get RealPlayer+Netscape play videos embedded in web pages, i.e. when there's a little RealPlayer window in the page itself. Otherwise, they work just fine.

I have:
1. plugins installed (rpnp.so, raclass.zip)
2. mime types set
3. codecs updated (rv9_libc6_i386_cs2.tgz)

Incidentally, on another site it says the problem is caused by the name of the plugin (rpnp.so) which should instead be RealPlayer.so because that's supposedly what javascript is looking for. Changing the name doesn't work, though.

Can anyone figure out the solution to this?
