Raw Therapee (appimage) won't open - wants libthai.so.0

Like the subject says, Raw Therapee won't open because it can't find libthai.so.0. I need Raw Therapee to open, but given that I don't speak Thai (except for a few cooking terms), it should not be looking for Thai anything.

Does anyone know how I can get Raw Therapee to open (in English, not Thai)?

I'm running Slackware 15 on a Lenovo IdeaPad L340 Gaming (and thus, gamedev).

Thanks

see the end of the page: https://github.com/tauri-apps/tauri/issues/4930
It looks like the easiest and fastest way is to install the missing lib.

I wonder how this could've happened - the whole idea of appimage and the like is to distribute portable apps which no dependencies whatsoever. Weird.

Sorry, I.meant to close this. I got libThai and the other one and the current appimage version is running fine. Too bad my memory of how to use it isn't so clear.
