Raid 1 mirroring in RH7.3

i have installed 2 harddisk (hda, hdc) as mirroring in RH7.3. I use this command (cat /proc/mdstat) to check the md0, it works fine(UU). So i do a testing (unplug the power cable of hda) to assume the hda down, then i reboot. it can't boot into my hdc after that.

any solution???

Please advice.

First, check the bios, make sure it will boot from that drive, Second, try it the other way. It might not have a boot sector, I'm not sure how the mirroring stuff all works, but also, it isn't able to initialize the raid because half of it is missing
