ps2pdf only outputs Black and white PDF's

I'm stumped....................

when I convert a postscript file generated by a windows hp or apple epson ,etc color print driver, using ps2pdf, ps2pdf13, etc ......I get a Black and white PDF. I have done endless searching on the web for a solution, but I have found nothing.

I am running Redhat 9 and Ghostscript is higher than version 7 i think.

I am running ps2pdf testdocument.ps

testdocument.ps is generated by windows and a color printer driver.

The PDF looks great, but is black and white.

help!

I just wanted to add that I have upgraded my version of samba to the latest stable release. It didn't help at all. Everything is still coming up black and white. I have set up a similar machine at home and it is spitting out color pdf's with no problem. As far as I know it is set up exactly like the other one, I just don't get it.

Hi and thanks to everyone who thought about this. I found that there was a print setting on the printer/windows side that needed to be set for color paper. Very strange....yes......but it fixed the problem.
