problem of qemu
Hello, i want to use the qemu to install a window server 2003. Here is some questions:
1 I use the command: qemu-img create -f qcow c.img 3G. I want to know where is the disk image?
2 [root@localhost ~]# qemu -cdrom Windows Server 2003 .ISO -hda c.img -m 256 -boot d
Could not configure '/dev/rtc' to have a 1024 Hz timer. This is not a fatal
error, but for better emulation accuracy either use a 2.6 host Linux kernel or
type 'echo 1024 > /proc/sys/dev/rtc/max-user-freq' as root.
You do not have enough space in '/dev/shm' for the 256 MB of QEMU virtual RAM.
To have more space available provided you have enough RAM and swap, do as root:
umount /dev/shm
mount -t tmpfs -o size=272m none /dev/shm
Or disable the accelerator module with -no-kqemu
when i typed:echo 1024 > /proc/sys/dev/rtc/max-user-freq,it said there was't this fload
I used the command :umount /dev/shm and mount -t tmpfs -o size=272m none /dev/shm.Then i tried:qemu -cdrom Windows Server 2003 .ISO -hda c.img -m 256 -boot d, however the result was't chang. what's the problem?
3 I had mount a tmpfs partition, what'sname of it and where is it?
Thanks!
