Exclamation problem in using subversion(svn) in kdevelop in our project

hello...
Well i am facing a problem of including subversion(svn) in our project. We are using Kdevelop for programming in our project and want to use subversion system with it. We have made listed our project on Souceforge and want all our member to upload their code there..... but the problem is that we are totally new to this concept and none of us know how to use svn.. we have tried to work on kdesvn , e-svn but with no result and also we are unable to put our work on Sourceforge... i have given svn command on konsole but every time got some error or other.. this are the errors I am getting after giving command...

[root@localhost testing]# svn co https://axe-csa.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/axe-csa axe-csa
svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/svnroot/axe-csa'
svn: PROPFIND of '/svnroot/axe-csa': Could not resolve hostname `axe-csa.svn.sourceforge.net': Host not found (https://axe-csa.svn.sourceforge.net)

I would really be greatful if someone could tell me how to integrate svn with Kdevelop (i know there is option when creating a new project, but its not working properly) so that we could directly upload our work there..... and also we are working behind proxy server of our collage , but then all of us already has set environmental variables. I am working on fedora 7 and other 3 on Suse 10.2.
