Playing games online with yahoo

hey i was just wondering, is it possible to play games online with yahoo? Games like pool and other games that i always play with when im in windows. I remembered there being an issue with java, that i did not quite understand. But i really want to figure this out. So if anybody has a link or up front info please post.

java for linux works fine with yahoo games. it takes just a little longer for it to load, but i haven't had any issues. get it at www.java.com

I recently had a problem with this. Yahoo games run in a Java applet so you need to have the Java runtime environment installed and the plugin for your browser. After some quick searching, I found the answer at:

You can download the Java runtime environment at:
http://<br /> http://java.sun.com/j...load.jsp<br />
You want the one that says JRE unless you're planning on doing some kind of Java development. Hope this helps.
