Parted Magic vs. G-parted


Parted Magic vs. Gparted. Which is better in your opinion?

Gparted - But only because I detest GUIs, but have actually used gparted to resize a few laptops when setting up dual-/tri-/quad-boot configs.

For my own personal gear I stick to the command-line.

for easy stuff, I'll just use fdisk or cfdisk in a terminal. Beyond that, I've never found anything better than GParted---Get the live CD here:

The advantage of Parted Magic is that it has GPT fdisk. Other than that, I'd say Gparted.

I tend to use gparted only because almost all distro's have it or can easily install it.

I've been using a 2010 GParted distro and it served me well since then. Resizing, etc. No problem encountered so far.
