openoffice sarge backports

Anyone sucessfully installed the new packages for sarge.
www.backports.org/pending/openoffice.org (see http://www.backports.org).

I am having problems with the libpam.so.0: dependency. open office being an 32bit port of the package it want the 32bt version of the libary but my su program wants 64bit. Is there a way around this or is there some alternative program i can use instead of su.
