I just officially used jack in linux to stream on jitsi meet.
looked up many youtube video on qjackctl, but can't seems to understand something.
I am totally new in this aspect. Correct me please if i said something ridiculous.
1.
I thought each audio devices ; be it capture or playback device shld have a node on qjackctl graph..
I don't understand how to route an audio from 1 device to another without having a node (for connection) for each device..
I have multimedia headphone with mic, but it does not shows on qjackctl.
instead it shows as "system capture 1 & 2" and "system playback 1& 2" which is shared between headphone mic and speaker and laptop mic and speaker.
so, if need to route laptop mic and headphone mic to online conference tool like jitsi, how to achieve that ?
A bit confused with qjackctl.
2.
everytime i restart qjackctl, my route setting reset. how to make it remember ?
This is the route setting that works for me so far
After i restarted qjackctl, it always became like this :
Is there anyway to fix it ?
3.
Qjackctl is to be run constantly like pulse audio in background? or run it only when i need it ? then quit it ?
4.
Is there a jack interface which can be used as audio mixer panel (something like voicemeeter banana) which gather all control knob and dial onto one place ? right now, to mute my headphone mic , i need to go to pavucontrol > input device > headphone mic > mute it.
and to mute my smplayer, i can mute it on smplayer side with "m" shortcut..
The control knobs and dials are scattered everywhere..
Thanks
