need a program for capturing


Hi.

I need a program for capturing or take a video from my Desktop something line SnagIt in windows or something like that .

I have never used SnagIt but have you tried Istanbul?

No, but you can always google-search it or install it to try out.

Have you checked the link I provided above? If you don't like those either, you'll need to do some Google search on your own.

RecordMyDesktop. I've used it. It works very nicely.

For online recording if having a twitter account. I use screenr in all my screen recordings. It keeps my app installs to a minimum.

LOL. Funny thing to say ater showing my AntiX video, I know. Forgot to mention. Java is a requirement to run screenr.

I've also used ffmpeg in terminal to record sessions also.
