Need a config file for glchess

Well I'm trying to install glchess on Debian, so I downloaded the rpm from the site and used alien to convert it to a debian package. The installation worked fine. I had to make a symbolic link to libgtkgl-2.0.so.1.0.0 called libgtkgl.so.5 because they had different names, and that seems to work.

My problem is that when I run glchess, it says
/home/mark/.glchessrc not found trying /etc/glchessrc
Segmentation fault

I think that if someone gave me their .glchessrc it might work.
Hey it's worth a try.

Thankx

Maybe you could just make an empty text file called ...

/home/mark/.glchessrc

... and see whether it'll then work for you. Don't have the program installed here to see what it contains, but it's possible it doesn't contain anything until you've done some configurations within the program. :-) Worth a try and if it doesn't work then someone who has it installed might be able to post their contents here.

Cheers

Yeah, I tried that already, but it said Segmentation Fault.

I don't know, maybe that's a sign that if I did have the right config file it wouldn't work.
