Can anyone point me in the right direction as to a great program for mp3 id3v1/2 tagging?

Preferebly KDE based but not necessary.

Sorry for the trite answer but there are many options out there. I have personally used easytag which is pretty good if you are looking for a GUI solution for editing tags. If you are looking for a CLI script there are many programs out there.

If you want a music 'environment' then try cantus or juk which allow you to create playlists, browse your music collection, play music, and of course edit tags all from one interface.
