modern version of "Odell Lake" game?

Has anyone ever seen a version of the Apple II game "Odell Lake" that can be played on modern computers, perhaps a fan remake? It was a fish sim in which you had to survive as one of a dozen or so different species of fish. It was probably my second-most-played game on the school computers after the Munchers games. It was fun mostly because before long, I got bored and did what nerds always do with computer games, i.e.: make the player character do stupid things. In this case, that consisted of eating inappropriate food ("Yuck! That tastes terrible!"), trying to attack or run away from algae and plankton ("That was a waste of effort"), or making my fish bravely attack bigger fish (chomping sound, unpleasant sort of belch-like sound indicating bad news). Anyway, I'd love to play it again if it's possible.

There's a page with some interesting info on the game here: http://www.gb64.com/game.php?id=9294&d=18&h=0. Given the Links section at the bottom of the page, you may be able to find an Commodore 64 emulator that'll run it (it was also available for the Commodore). This may help: http://www.linuxlinks.com/Software/Emulators/Commodore/.

WARNING: Old games played again never seem as good as you remember them! I learned the hard way...

I've had some experience with that letdown.
