measuring network activities


measuring network activities

Please suggest some network tools that I can measure network activities. Also how can I find the total network bandwidth and how much is the usage ?

netstat provides a current look at the network activities. I can't recommend a statistic utility, but there should be some. Google for them...

I've found both ntop and MRTG to be helpful for measuring bandwidth usage.
