Question linux live write to harddrive


hi

can you write to the harddrive if you run linux live? like if you wanted to download stuff of f the internet?

Yup, though you'll have to mount it somewhere:
# mount /dev/hda1 /mnt/hda1
Assuming that hda1 is the partition you want to mount, and /mnt/hda1 is where you want to mount it.
