keyboard and mouse stopped working completely in kernel 2.6.9-5.ELsmp

Hi

My keyboard and mouse stopped working completely in kernel 2.6.9-5.ELsmp, I used Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS.

I used CPU(AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Code Processor 2200+, 2 CPUS).
I had try to disabled USB controller and legacy, even disabled STAT and USB controller, The situation are same.

It's works when I choose to (2.6.9-5.EL).

Any ideas?

I used superio Ite8712 of keyboard controller.

It's works when I choose to (2.6.9-5.EL).

Any ideas?

Hmmm....strange. Try kernel-bigmem and see if you get the same problem.
