Question kernel & i815 & sound

Hello ALL!
I have just compiled kernel-2.4.18. When I configured new kernel I mentioned that I would like use sound driver for i81X chipset in kernel (not like module). Now sound is a bit fast. In old configuration I use sound driver like module and can correct this problem by passing parameter to driver module snd_ac97_clock=41194. But I don't know how I can do this for driver in kernel.
Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

You can do it by passing an option to the kernel when it boots. The boot prompt How-To has all the details.
