kernel 2.6.8 compile error mkinitrd failed

Hi,

I am upgrading the kernel of my RH9 server and i encounter a [COLOR=blue]mkinitrd failed error.[COLOR=blue]

[root@webcache linux-2.6.8]# make install
make[1]: `arch/i386/kernel/asm-offsets.s' is up to date.
CHK include/linux/compile.h
Kernel: arch/i386/boot/bzImage is ready
sh /home/src/linux-2.6.8/arch/i386/boot/install.sh 2.6.8StableF arch/i386/boot/bzImage System.map ""
No module /bin/true found for kernel 2.6.8StableF
mkinitrd failed
make[1]: *** [install] Error 1
make: *** [install] Error 2

What do you think is the reason of this and what are the posible solution for this? Im stuck with this problem and im out of idea already.

BTW, i already tried reboot, recompile the kernel twice but the error occur.

Mike
