KDE shortcut keys


is there a way to set shortcut keys in kde tro make the volume go up and down.

Open "Kmix"

Right Click on the Volume Control
Select "Define Keys"
Double Click "Increase Volume" and define Key
Double Click "Decrease Volume" and define Key

im in kmix, i dont see "Volume Control"

ok i figured out how to set it but now it doesnt recognize the extra buttons above the function buttons. these used to work just fine.
