KDE dcopserver keeps failing

hello once again everyone.
I need help once again!

I've installed cygwin (http://www.cygwin.com) which is a unix environment in windows.

I've tried and tried to get KDE 2 for cygwin running on it, it loads upto the point where something about inter process failed and to check the dcopserver if it's running or not.
This is the error message I get

DCOPClient::attachinternal. Attach failed Could not open network socket
DCOPServer self-test failed

I read the FAQ's and it said to change the registry value from 32 to 10 for cygwin flags, all done. Yet it still doesn't run. I'm all out of ideas, please someone help me!

Thanks in advance.
