i had just got my parallel zip 100 plus to work today
But every time i restart my computer. I got to recreate a dirctory in /mnt and add something in /etc/fstab file
Is there any way i could keep the configuration?
of course, i did. and the problem was that every time i restart either Plug and Play or something else had refreshed the configure, but i just don't know what it is!
Any idea?
Can you show what the difference is between your /mnt/* and /etc/fstab both after you make the changes and then after you reboot?
What editor are you using? vi?
Which distro?
At the least, a shell script could make the changes for you quickly until you figure out the problem.
post your fstab....before and after you re-boot so we can see
what might be wrong...........I have a zip250 setup and I don't see this kind of behavior from Slackware 9....what distro are you
using??
