Installing Bumblebee on F28

I have a Huawei matebook X pro and I have installed F28 on it. I'm trying to install Bumblebee now.

Bumblebee can be installed by following the procedures at https://www.linux.ncsu.edu/bumblebee/ but cannot work. I then found the post at https://superuser.com/questions/6421...-fedora-how-to. After the driver signature problem was resolved, I run

Code:
$ sudo bumblebee-nvidia --debug
Everything is OK and then I can run

Code:
optirun glxgears
and a small window pops up with spinning gears. However, the discrete graphics card seems still on.

Code:
lspci -vnn | grep '\''[030[02]\]'
6:00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation UHD Graphics 620 [8086:5917] (rev 07) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
146:01:00.0 3D controller [0302]: NVIDIA Corporation GP108M [GeForce MX150] [10de:1d12] (rev a1)
It's 'a1' rather than 'ff' after 'rev'.

I then ran

Code:
sudo bumblebee-nvidia --check
and got

Code:
nvidia.ko compiled into in the kernel tree ok.
......
Warning! bbswitch is not loaded into this kernel!
Since bbswitch is not loaded into the kernel, lets do additional checks on it...
dkms status bbswitch output:
bbswitch, 0.8.0, 4.17.11-200.fc28.x86_64, x86_64: installed
......
I don't have a /proc/acpi/bbswitch file.

Code:
cat /proc/acpi/bbswitch
cat: /proc/acpi/bbswitch: No such file or directory
What's the problem?

Did you read the Fedora docs about this?
https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US...ocs/bumblebee/

Did you load the akmod-bbswitch bumblebee and primus modules? Sounds like something is not loaded....

Yes, the bbswitch is not loaded.

I have followed the procedures described in the Fedora docs but did not get bumblebee worked

Ok...so you say bbswitch isn't loaded, and the documentation about Bumblebee on Fedora says to load it....the problem seems self-evident as does the solution.
