Installing a Mono Snapshot on Mandrake

I spent the weekend installing Mono 1.0.5 on Mandrake Linux 10.1 (Official). The process was pretty straightforward. I tracked my steps in these two threads:
http://bugzilla.ximian.com/show_bug.cgi?id=71942
http://www.tagcma.com/article.php?st...50129194256570

I need to get ASPX web services running using the MySQL .NET Connector 1.0.4, and unforunately, I need to the latest Mono snapshot to do it.

Here is a way more in depth chronical as I go tarball to tarball getting the Mono Snapshot to work in Mandrake Linux 10.1 (Official).

Linux Mandrake makes it very hard to get MOD_MONO and XSP working by not providing apache2-devel-2.0.50-7mdk along with the proper dependencies.

Does anyone know where I can get apache2-devel-2.0.50-7mdk?

I might be able to find the RPM but they really need to include these files in the distribution:

rpm -ivh apache2-devel-2.0.50-7mdk.i586.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
ADVX-build >= 10 is needed by apache2-devel-2.0.50-7mdk
gdbm-devel is needed by apache2-devel-2.0.50-7mdk
expat-devel is needed by apache2-devel-2.0.50-7mdk
openssl-devel is needed by apache2-devel-2.0.50-7mdk
apr-devel >= 0.9.5 is needed by apache2-devel-2.0.50-7mdk
apr-util-devel >= 0.9.5 is needed by apache2-devel-2.0.50-7mdk
autoconf2.5 is needed by apache2-devel-2.0.50-7mdk
automake1.7 is needed by apache2-devel-2.0.50-7mdk
pcre-devel is needed by apache2-devel-2.0.50-7mdk

Once you get it working, the setup isn't so bad. It just takes about a week of reading documentation of INSTALL and README files and installing one dependency after the other.
