imap folders show my whole /home/user directory

I just set up UW IMAP and it runs fine. The problem I have is that when I download IMAP folders it shows the complete contents of my user directory, /home/user . I obviously want to only have mail-related files/folders show up. Any ideas how I can do that?

Have a look at the FAQ over at the UW IMAP site. http://www.washington.edu/imap/IMAP-FAQs/#7.73
