Idiot's guide to kxdocker?

Could someone give me a rundown of how to use and configure kxdocker? I got it running, but I'd like to configure it more, and move it from the bottom of the screen to the right side, if possible. Also, if I could make it smaller and remove some effects so that it runs faster, that'd be great.

I'm running KDE under Debian etch, if it matters.

Are there any easier, faster alternatives to Kdocker for Debian? I've never compiled anything from source before, but could try if given good instructions.

There should be an icon for it in the system tray, right click it and select configurator.
