How to mount Office365 sharepoint on Linux server?

Hi,

I am asked to mount a sharepoint url (on office365) to a linux server (RHEL 7.2) and I am not sure how would I achieve this.

So far I have only URL, which should be mounted to /app-data1 on RHEL. I did CIFS, but not sure about sharepoint.

I am going through this link
But it talks about third party tools like Konqueror, rclone, dolphin. Is there straightforward way to mount it like we do for CIFS, without using any non-RHEL tool? Our management will be less interested to adopt any third-party tool.

Please give me some pointers.

Thanks

EDIT - this is another one I found https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sha...-to-sharepoint

First, konqueror and dolphin aren't 'third party' tools...the first two are native KDE applications. Rclone is a pretty well established Linux utility. Since it's Microsoft, they aren't likely to release a way to do this easily, if at all. And since you're not only dealing with Microsoft, but also Office365 and Sharepoint, you have to go through authentication and lots of other hoops as well.

The link you posted is from some time ago; a more current one: https://www.reddit.com/r/sysadmin/co...line_in_linux/

That indicates you can write your own code; have you begun?

Great; so how about sharing that 'small code' so others can benefit??
