How to Log-in to a fresh Vector Linux install?

Hi Guys:

I just installed Vector Linux 5.8, I am left with a login prompt after reboot as vector.linux.net : Login.

I dont know what the exact login is for this fresh install. The Installation app did not ask for any login information.

Did you setup a username or password? If so, then enter those to login and then enter the command "startx" (without quotes) to start a GUI. If not, then you have to login as root and user the adduser or useradd commands to create a normal user account.

Hi: My mistake OR Vector Linux mistake, the first time installation was not complete with User Password, Root etc. The second time it worked.
