How do I add this repo to yum and apt?

Hi, I've been trying to add this to both yum and apt but am not having any luck.

http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pu...6/Fedora/RPMS/

I was trying to add this part:

http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pu...elopment/i386/

Everytime it doesn't work..but i'm not really sure how to add it.

Thanks.

few things.

1. what distro are you using?

2. are you using YUM or apt?

if its apt, then you need to edit your sources.list as root, if you are using YUM, then you need to edit your yum.conf as root.

in either case you need to run update of what ever package manager you are using.

if you are running MDK, then why would you be pointing to a RH list? i know nothing about MDK other then it is an other rpm based distro, but i would only guess that MDK has their own set of respoitories as the RPMs for RH/FC are different then those for MDK

Sorry.

Right now I'm trying fedora core 3 out.

Well, I want to add it to apt..but I'm not sure how exactly I add it. I mean, I put the link in the sources.list but It didn't work.

post your sources.list and also post any errors you are getting when you apt-get update
