Post How can I copy and paste from or to the vmware linux machine?

I have installed successfully vmare 5.5, redhat9 and vmware tools for linux. And the setting related with copy/paste also is enabled in preferrence of vmware.

But copy/paste betweem of host and guest OS still cannot work.
Anyone can help me to slove it?

If I understand your problem you're probably looking for ssh. All distros should have openssh installed or in their repositories. With ssh your can remotely log in and copy to/from the computers.

Ssh only can copy/paste something between console and host.

before you want to copy/paste cross the vmare linux, the following cmd need be executed in linux installed in VMWare.
$vmware-toolbox
