I want some help regarding routing in ns2.
Can anyone tell me how to change .cc file nd then recompile it.
As AODV protocol is working fine with wireless node but now i want to change some part in aodv.cc or any other like aodv.h or rtable.cc but don't where i can make change and then how to see the effect of that..

please help me i am new user so dnt know much about it.

ans sorry if i posted the thread in wrong place but i found that this must be the appropriate place to place this question.

Hi you want path of "rtable.cc" or want us to tell you where to make changes in this?

You using NS2 2.34 verison?

Are you lokking for this path ~/ns-allinone-2.34/ns-2.34/Makefile ?

If you can elaborate more we can help you better.

I want to make changes in that protocol but I don't know where to make changes and after that what i need to do...

Actually I am working on VANET routing so I am first trying to run the in built protocol and it was running also but sir told me to try that see what happen if you make some changes in it and then see the difference. So that i am not getting that where i need to make changes. I found all 5 file regarding protocol like .cc rtable.cc .h all but not getting that where i can make some changes... please help me out

Are you sure all these 5 files are the only required files?

Yeah i saw in one pdf to make routing protocol in ns2 in that they describe only five file bt u can add file as per your need.

please tell me if you have any idea about the programming in ns2 for routing protocol
