Has anyone implemented smartcard authentication via LDAP on RHEL 5.4 using NSS??

I am configuring a RHEL 5.4 machine with smart card authentication via LDAP using pam_pkcs11 and storing the certificates in the NSS database. However, I am having a hard time getting the certificate sent to the LDAP and I am beginning to think this is not supported. The pam_pkcs11 package I am using is pam_pkcs11-0.6.2-11.1.

Does anyone have any experience with this configuration?

Thanks,

breds
