Question halt/reboot from a gnome session as normal user

hi all!
I think I may have a problem with permission somewhere but dont know where to look. I'm using gnome 2.2, and if I login as root, when i'm logging off from gnome i have a dialog that allows me to log off, halt and reboot. But if I log in as a normal user, I just have the option to log off. Where can I fix this?
Btw, dunno if this matters, but I'm using GDM to login.

thanks
