GRUB loading, please wait.... Error 17

I have just recently uninstalled Suse linux 10.0 from my desktop computer. As I rebooted, the first thing that pops it says:
GRUB loading stage 1.5.

GRUB loading, please wait...
Error 17

I rebooted everytime after that and its still shows it and I can't get to anywhere. I cannot even get into BIOS to change any settings.

Specs:

AMD Sempron 2800+ at 2.0 GHz
Maxtor 160GB HD
1GB RAM

Error 17 means that GRUB in the MBR cannot find the partition GRUB was installed to (the SUSE partition). You will need to reinstall GRUB, or install another boot manager. If you have another distro, install GRUB to that, using a Live CD. If not, you can just reinstall the Windows boot manager (or whatever boot manager you want) to the MBR. Installing another distribution of Linux will also work.
Changing the BIOS settings won't help if you only have 1 hard drive, and if you can boot to a CD normally.

since SUSE is on a DVD, I put in a Live DVD. But it still wouldn't read off of it. In order for me to be able to make it boot from the DVD, I have to change the setting in the BIOS, and me not being able to get into BIOS means that I can't boot it off the DVD. But would it be possible if I had another HD, install that as a primary master drive and had the other one as a slave drive, would that be possible?
