gnome-ppp ,howto use command line to connect internet


can i use command line to use gnome-ppp to connect internet or command to set wvdial reconnect when disconnect i want to set linux to connect internet automatic when login i use gnome-ppp 0.30 i call gnome-ppp in terminal but it only open program and not connect dose any one can do this?
