hello sir,i am installing some utilities make
mini6410_nand_config-ram128;make related to the tiny6410 board into my pc.
this command on linux i am getting
"error make: arm-linux-gcc: Command not found"
how it can be fix??
First, there are not just "sirs" on this site. Secondly, you don't tell us what version/distro of Linux you're using, so we can't give much advice. But the error you posted is VERY clear...it's telling you point-blank that it can't find the arm-linux-gcc command. Which means either you didn't install that package, or it's not in your path. You can run "find / -name arm-linux-gcc" as root to see if it's there, and if so, specify the entire path name when running it. Or install the missing package.
if i execute this command find / -name arm-linux-gcc i got these path
/opt/FriendlyARM/toolschain/4.5.1/bin/arm-linux-gcc
/opt/FriendlyARM/mini6410/linux/u-boot-mini6410/arm-linux-gcc
/home/sachin/Documents/ARM_CROSS_COMPILER/fsl-linaro-toolchain/bin/arm-linux-gcc
/media/BackUp/ARM_for_LINUX/ARM_CROSS_COMPILER/fsl-linaro-toolchain/bin/arm-linux-gcc
as far as i know you build gcc (or install pkg) that supports compiling on more than one architecture: one of which is default
then if you wish to build software for a different architecture, you supply gcc with options of which, and use flags as necessary (for diff includes libs if necessary)
unsure why you have a thing where you need "a cross compiler for arm". gcc manpage (the regular gcc) has arm options right? why not use them?
