Fedora Locks up Loading CUPS after RHN updates

Hi Guys,

This is a strange one. I am using Fedora Core Three (well I was). I ran the Auto updates Feature. I then performed a reboot and my machine hung on loading CUPS. I ran a completely new installation on my computer and Fedora started up without issues. I ran the updates and again, when I rebooted I had a machine which was stuck on Loading CUPS.

Any ideas out there? Apart from skipping CUPS as an update.
I am more curious as to why? I have not set a printer up on my computer (yet).

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks
