Evolution FYI : ISP wants port other than default

Setting up the mail program Evolution, my ISP told me that the outgoing server should be "smtpauth.earthlink.net", and the port number should be 587. According to /etc/services, my default smtp port is 25.
In Evolution Setup, in the box for outgoing server, I used "smtpauth.earthlink.net:587"

That works.
