At fist, i was trying to install using
perl -MCPAN -e shell which asked me to install make. i installed gcc and make using apt-get ... is there anything i can do to make it work? according to README, no other models are required. i tried to install stright from CPAN repository but it didn't work:

make had returned bad status, install seems impossible

i installed other modules no problem .. like Spreadsheet::ParseExcel and Locale::Recode ...
any help will be appreciated ..
