ok i successfully emu'ed dvd shrink 3.2 using wine and i went to rip the dvd... this is the process i went through...

1) i used VOBCOPY to extract the dvd to my hd using this command (vobcopy -m)

2) then i made it into an ISO usking mkisofs using this command ( mkisofs -dvd-video -udf /path/to/files > isoname.iso

3) then i loaded it in dvd shrink 3.2.. and what i noticed at a point when i was watching it analyze.. the picture went green.. i dont know it seemed odd but it analyzed fine.. so i start to back it up.. then when this movie hits like 40%.. the buffer goes through the roof!.. it locks up my whole box


has anyone had this probleem before if anyone has used my method?

plz help or does anyone know an easy to in ripping a full dvd and compressing it to a 4.7GB dvdr
